What PS2 games should I buy?

    we recently got a ps2 with Tekken 4, so I'm going to buy games.. suggestions?

    I'm currently leaning towards Gran Turismo 3 and Final Fantasy 10 (probably in budget by now), and GTA3.

    Any must-buys? Note: I've played MGS2 and didn't think it was *that* good.

    the new GTA game is out soon, and if you're into bashing buttons then Devil May Cry is pretty good fun. Oh and if you like football games, PES2 is out on the 25th.

    MGS 2 wasnt that good.

    GTA3 is brill but wait for the next one at the start of next month.

    FFX is brill too but i don't think it's gonna be budget any time soon.

    I'd get GT3 rather than concept as there's more too it and it's on budget

    GTA3 is a must-buy. After that, I recommend SSX Tricky, Rez, Burnout and Pro Evolution Soccer. You'll either love or hate Devil May Cry.

    might as well get Burnout 2, it improved a bit

    Anyone have an idea when Xenosaga is gonna be released???
    Its probably the only game im looking forward to at the moment(that and PES2!)

    Xenosaga should be out some time b4 christmas according to the game website.

    Xenosaga has been put back to February in the USA, afaik.

    Star Ocean 2 has been delayed in Japan, too. And no news on Suikoden III in the USA.

    Bah.

    Wild Arms 3 just came out in the US though...

    Possibly the most stunning videogame I have ever played.

    Although I'd say some people might object to paying 60 bucks for what amounts to roughly a weekend's worth of the most incredible videogame experience ever.

    We call these people 'morons'.

    I'm going to buy a PS2 at the end of the month mainly because of ISS Pro Evolution 2 and GT3. I've played GTA3 on the PC and its great fun, I love trying to get insane stunt bonuses :). Final Fantasy X looks great and I will most likely get that for my shiny PS2.

    I hear the Britany Spears dance game is great, and you can get one of those dance mats for pretty cheap in GAME on Grafton Street. The people on the box look really happy so it must be good.

    ok, thanks for the responses etc.
    I have bought GT3 (on budget for €30, HMV), will try it tonight. On my "to do" list are GTA3VC when it comes out and FFX. Oh, and of course Britney's Dance Thing. I may buy two copies.
