NWN Internet Connection Crashes since recent patch...

I got 1.25 down and now when I click on Join Internet Game the program goes into a sound loop and immediately stalls. It loops the sound for about 30 seconds and then Windows comes in with a "do you want to rat this program out to Bill Gates?" error...
I've updated to the beta of 1.26 but no joy... HELP!!
1.24 was fine... I wonder if I can do a reinstall without losing my single player game as I am half way through it and I kinda like the character

A good place to start might be the nwn support fourm at http://nwn.bioware.com/forums/viewforum.html?forum=49 might find someone else with the same problem and hopefully a way to fix it.
You should be able to revert from the 1.26 patch to 1.25 and then you can go back to 1.24 with a revert patch http://nwn.bioware.com/support/patch_revert.html Seems a few people are haveing trouble with 1.25 so the put that up.
Or you could go for the critical rebuild patchhttp://nwn.bioware.com/support/patch_english.html
If you reinstall from the cd your save games should be okay (well mine where when I reinstalled it) But the revert patch should bring you back to a working 1.24, just hope there are some 1.24 servers up if you want to play online.0
