need good advice on esat dsl

Hello everyone. I'm thinking of moving to an area with a dsl enabled exchange. But i hear the chance of getting a phone line that isnt suitable for dsl is high. Question is how can i maximise the chance of having a dsl-suitable phone line installed by eircom ? Thanks in advance

How far away is it from the exchange? Can your neighbours get the service? Has the line been put in recently? I think if your answers to those questions are all yes, your chances of being able to get it are pretty high.

Also remember that you should have a much better chance with Esat, as Eircon have their line test all ****ed up.
