    I am an average player when it comes to ... The following games:
    Counter-Strike, Quake 3, Battlefield 1942. Any help or pointers or strategy tips... would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

    Get a gamepad instead of using the keyboard. Pat it on your a$s repeatedly. You should get a few kills that way.

    Repeat.

    In otherwords... practice against bots ... or is there any tactics for the games i have difficulty with, which is Counter-Strike, Quake 3, Battlefield 1942 ???

    I wouldn't recommend bots to become better. Nothing like playing humans, who are usually 'smarter' than bots. For CS, try watching demos of top players/clans in action. Notice how they move, when they crouch, when they burst fire, when they go full auto, where they aim for. I'd recommend going to sogamed.com and downloading demos of some top players on public servers. You'll get to see pure killing in its most natural form, and will see again and again the all important art of 'Shoot other guy before he shoots you.' Other than that, persevere :)

    Set up some macro's that say the following....

    LAAAAAAGGGGGG!

    Camper!!!!!!

    FFS!!!!

    Use these macro's often and you will join the elite group of online players and you will never feel your crap at online games again.

    Ok but just one more :)

    Make a macro to say " You Lamer I was typing!!!!" and then add "FFS" (from the macro you learned about in lession 1) everytime you get fragged.

    Master these skill's and you will be the next Koopa :)

    How do I make a macro? I can't remember how2 right now... cause it's 11pm atm.
