Has anybody any idea how I would go about getting tickets to the Italy v Ireland game for next year. Have called the IRFU and they informed me that there aren't any tickets going on sale to the public. Is it only clubs that will be receiving tickets ?

Move to Classifieds board if this is the wrong place,

    Thanks,

    M

Go and buy them at rugby club so, I can't see there being that big a demand for them.

There was a question there FANJ...

Is it only clubs that will be receiving tickets ?

Does "Go and buy them at rugby club so" mean that you think the clubs will be receiving the tickets, woman at the IRFU was nearly as unhelpful in her response as you...

Sorry I misread I thought you said that you were told that only the clubs were getting them.

Still rugby clubs do get tickets for every match so that's your best option. Also www.irishrugby.ie might be selling them closer to the date. That's how I got tickets for the Ireland Aus game.

    Got this from here

    Six Nations 2003.

Tickets for matches in Lansdowne Road will be distributed through the rugby clubs of Ireland, the Visiting Union will also receive an allocation which they will distribute through their own clubs. Tickets for the Irish away games will be distributed by the IRFU to the provincial branches who will distribute them through the rugby clubs. You must be a member of a rugby club in order to purchase tickets from them.

Hopefully now I'm a bit more help than the woman on the phone :p
