i remember looking at some rather cool stencil graffiti of the space invaders characters sprayed in various cities in europe on a website.

ok, to show im not lazy ive found the website :)http://www.space-invaders.com/ (simple)

i havent done stencil on walls yet, but ive had my share of wall painting in my old room. might do something new since the white walls in the new place are too damn white for my liking.

Wouldnt the stencils have to be really big though?
That would kind of be a pain in the ass to make, but I dont have very good can control either.

afaik these guys were the 'originators' http://www.obeygiant.com/index2.html

there is an article in this months face (the one with the larry clark - kids on the front) all about it, these guys are kinda on the same vibe as well http://www.stickernation.net/ ...

the giant site has a pretty comprehensive links section as well ; )

Stencils ? Always did it free hand ..there was a place near where i live and they let us spray paint as the walls where going to be demolished soon. I mainly did characters , did a six foot brain (from pinky and the brain) and some other stuff. Havnt done anything like that in years though ...will scan them in and share ...eventually

There was a program on channel 4 about the 'A to Z of now'

It showed some stenciling art, pretty nice stuff

The main guy was Banky he's already started working for fashion

designers and even has his own exhibitions.

    All started from graffiti...
