Between One Hour Photo (out this weekend), and Insomnia, Robin Williams has seriously gone up in my estimation as an actor. Williams is fantastic in One Hour Photo, playing a lonely guy who stalks a family he becomes obsessed with. Very creepy.....

    Anyone else seen it?

Lets hope Death To Smoochie (his next dark role) makes it across to us soon......

    - Dave.

Ya its a pretty good show. The end of it really makes ya think, do I hate the guy or understand were his coming from.

I've seen One Hour Photo, I thought the story itself was ok but it's worth seeing for Robin Williams' performance alone.
I never really thought he could actually act in a serious role until I saw that movie.

I thought the story was like a Stephen King rip off.
The bit where he broke into their house was pure rubbish though - really why was that in the film?
Williams was good - but the film a bit uneventful.
The Fisher King is Williams best serious role. Excellent movie!

I have to agree with this, and I dont see Williams topping it. But I must say, this new incarnation of him, a darker one at that, is FAR far better than the usual Patch Adams slop. And quite refreshing compared to Awakenings. Although that was quite brilliant also.
