    Okay, i've patched GPL to 1.2, added the discofix patch, and the CPU speed patch (mostly for the CD check removal, as my CPU's not that fast anyway). I haven't touched the graphics patches, cos i have a 3dfx card already, and use glide. I've installed VROC and am in the process of getting that up and running.

    Now i'd like to know where to go from here. There area bewildering array of utilities, graphics, tracks, etc... I'm wondering which are the best of the best. What i need to get the most out of GPL.

    Also, i'm downloading the GPLEA cars at the moment, and i had a thought... can downloadable cars change the handling and characteristics, or are they just for appearance only? Is there any way to get other cars from, say, the 50s? Ones that actually handle like the real 50s cars?

    GO TO MY POST IN TREAD FOR RACING SIM LINKS.ALL YOU NEED IS THERE.New cars only alter appearance ,look out for 16 bit track asphalt also,id post a link only i cant remember where i got them.
