It looks like we're heading into a double dip economic cycle, but when do you expect to see an upturn for real?

I don't expect to see one til 2004.
At the moment, things are just getting worse and worse, it'll take awhile for things to turn around.

I agree. Dont be expecting anything to happen in the near future. Now's the time to polish up on your academic skills me thinks. Just while there is a shortage of jobs out there also.

I expect early 2004 before we see anything.

Dont think we have bottomed out yet either. Still lots more corporate scandals to be found out me thinks!!!

Given that no-one is doing anything IT related- could be a good time to hone up those skills.
I know most employers are still willing to fund outside courses (after all they are tax deductable).

It'll proberly be a year or two, recessions are the storms
of commerce and as such an evil neccesity, there are many healthy trees but quite a few rotten ones, the storm
brings them down its the same in business,
until the weak and badly run businees' are all down and out the upturn won't really get going.

(and yes I 'm aware that the rotten tree may fall on someones head, and that ppl can loose thier jobs even if the company they're in is sound.)

Bush bombed the crap out of the Afghans which I don't object to , seen as there was a terror network in the country that helped the attcak on the WTC

    Problem

Bush did not find any Steel or Gas in Afghan land, all he found were poor people that he had to give Aid to, Cammels and a bunch of Coke that he could snort.

After Bush/Blair blow the Sh*t out tthe Iraq people and then start injecting some rich refined chemicals, Steel and GAs into the dying Americana and Uk Economy.

The rest of the Econmies will import more goods and gain from the spoils and profits of the Westerners that Bomb the Sh*t out of Iraq.

If you had've followed this advice in 2002 there's no way you'd be unemployed right now

Decade old bump must be some sort of record :pac:
