What setting should the Lnb be set to? Does moving it affect signal quality? Only able to get 50% quality at the moment. This causes some break up on ITV. Any remedy for this. I am in Laois.

    Thanks Guys.

    Thanks Guys.

If your dish is correctly installed, IE square to the ground is should be set at 2.

    Thanks Tony!

That has sorted it out. Quality is now 75% and no more problems.

    Thanks again Tony

    Hi,

Stupid question, but how do you change the LNB setting - I think this could be the reason why I can get most of the ITV regions but not UTV, Channel Islands, Scotland etc.

    Thanks,

    Stephen :)

You just move the lnb inside the plastic case, the numbers are marked on the bottom where to F socket sticks out

Thanks to Tony's advice, I went out yesterday and moved the lnb as suggested. Signal strength is now 70%, signal quality is 90%!!! Previously, they were both only 60%.

Questions: is it possible/desirable/necessary to improve either figure? If yes, how do I do it? I'm in mid-Kildare, is any improvement likely?

Unless you are having picture problems I would not bother (if it aint broke dont fix it) Out of curiousity did you guys get professional installation as the skew should have been set right from to start?
