Was a good laugh for all. 2-3 foot surf and onshore winds made for less than ideal conditions but they were good enough. The tandem riding was way harder than you'd think, but it was still a good laugh. Plenty of spot prizes for everyone who entered too. Nice to have a burger and a beer afterwards, pity about the rain but…

Some lucky sod won the 6'2 Al Merrick but he was in Limerick for the day. Looks like a sweet board.

All in all the event was a great success bringing lots of Cork surfers together. Hopefully we'll see a few more of these events in the near future.
