Sat-a-dee?

Anyone remember a kids tv show that was on RTE during the 1980s that went as follows? It was from Australia/NewZealand and was set during the 1940s. I'm pretty sure it was called Saturday (only it had a weird way of spelling it ie 'Sat-a-dee' or something similar). Is this the name of the show I'm talking about and if so does anyone know the 'correct' way to spell it so I can look it up on the net?

    SATURDEE

    7 Network-LJ Productions-Revcom / 10x30m-e / 1986

Producers: John Gauci, Louise Hall / Director: John Gauci

    Saturday evening variety series.

    This from here-
    http://www.memorabletv.com/tvas.htm

http://us.imdb.com/Title?0091893 but contains nothing except cast/credits.

Thats the nearest I can find.

Is that the one that had a reasonably catchy (but annoying) theme tune that ran something like "tomorrows satadee and I know where I will be, tomorrow's satadee and I know what I'll be doing"?

Correct, and that's exatly the reason why I wanted to know the exactl spelling of it. I can't have watched that show in over a decade but in the past few days that tune has just been humming round in my head constantly. I find I can always exorcise the tune from with a single listen to the actual music so thats what I did.

    Crazy! :)
