Dublin has always been a really tough place for bands to get gigs. Wether its trying to get supports from bands full of elitist, stand offish, wolly hat wearing berks or venue promoters who don't give an arse candle and just want to get rid of their Monday and Tuesday nights to some poor shmoes who have to bring every single person they ever met or looked at just to break even.

I digress...

I would just love to hear anecdotes, opinions and suggestions on Dublins rock venues; Whelans, TBMC, Eamonn Dorans, et al.

Nothing libelous of course...
