unreal2003 on linux

    For those afraid of installing linux you might want to try the great gentoo live cd with a pre installed copy of the unreal tournament demo. www.gentoo.org

    This is great if youve got an nvidia card and preferably some sort of soundblaster type card.

    The live cd just boots off the cd when you start the PC and loads a virtual installation of linux from where you can play the game.

    Shows you what you can do when a game is developed for linux rather than poorly ported afterwards, it really looks amazing.

    Everyone else, just go and download the demo and install it (or if you use gentoo its in the portage tree) :)

    The full game itself will come with a linux installer on the third cd so its playable out of the box on your linux system (as long as youve got the hardware).
