    Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone was interested in swapping tabs for different tracks/bands???? I've bought a couple of Tab books for different artists but found them to be a bit on the expensive side!!!:( And I've gotten quite a few tabs for various sites on the web (guitarnotes.com/tabs.............being one of the best that I've found) but as the tabs are posted by fans they are sometimes just an indication rather than exact transcripts!!!
If anyone's interested let me know!!!!!

    Baz.

P.S. I've been playing for about a year now and I've been coming along quite nicely, except for the fact that I just can't get the hang of singing along to the songs!!! Now some people would say that's not a bad thing after hearing my voice!!!!;)
Any suggestions or is it just a case of practice makes perfect?????

    Try http://www.mysongbook.com.

You'll need to download Guitar Pro 3 though!

    Hey
I've been using guitar pro for about 3 weeks and I have to say it rocks. Go to www.guitar-pro.com to download it and there's loads of links there to sites with tabs

PS This is my first post so go on easy on me ;)

    I recommend Power Tab Editor:

    http://powertab.guitarnetwork.org

    and for the power tabs:

    http://pta.bandtabs.com/

There are thousands of the files out there, and both the files and the program are free.

Go with guitar-pro, not the largest selection of tabs but they tend to be very detailed and the program is the business

The guitar tab archive at http://www.olga.net has over 25,000 tab entries. There's also the chord dictionary and a handy chord generator too.

Good site with loads of songs, based in Wexford.

Can be a bit slow, but the content is top class.

Hey, thanx for the 'thumbs up'. I've tried to keep load times on the site to a minimum, the song pages themselves are plain text, which also means no shifting of the chord positions, and I've scaled down all of the background images to < 20k.

I'll take a look at other ways of improving load time, I'm guessing it is only slow on dial-up, I have a monitor on all pages which shows around .08sec load time, but that's probably b/b

Glad you like the site enough to recommend it, I hope you like the variety, and have had fun playing at least a few of the songs!

    Enjoy your music,
    PJ
