Filming in Finglas village.

There was what seemed like a very big shoot underway in Finglas village today. I was wondering does anyone know whats being shot here?

It was being shot outside the old TSB bank which is now done up as Eurobank. I dont think Eurobank exists though as its been like that for a while and not opened. I think it was done up for the film. Any info appreciated.

It most probably isnt the first time there was shooting outside a bank in Finglas:D Im really sorry I just had to get that one in;)
You dont have any idea as to who was starring in it do you?If its nobody you recognise Id imagine its a well funded independant production.If nobody can help you Id suggest keeping an eye on whats being shown at the Irish Film Centre if you really are hoping to see yourself caught in the background.Ive never been to it and personally i have little interest in indie films but if its an Irish indie Id imagine it would eventually get a screening there.

Could it possibly be that film starring Colin Farrell that somebody else mentioned seeing (filming beside Bank of Ireland, College Green)?

Yeah i ws thinking it might well be that new one with Colin Farrell. We recieved a letter from a production company called Brown Sauce or something like that (as did most the houses on our road i think) saying they wanted to film scenes inside one of the houses here for the film. They wanted to take pictures and the like. We never got back to them though.

Yeh, it is Brown Sauce. They are shooting that film for Company Of Wolves.
