Actually a pint of special in Scotland is a pint of "Special" which is a type of beer/ale.

Out of all of those mindrots my choice of poison is Guinness. Never wish it was the next day tho

I cant understand a pint of Ale with a Guinness head. Is it only to get the head to last to the bottom of the glass?

The nicest drink on that list is Carlsberg, which is my old reliable. But the dream drink is a nice chilled bottle of Warsteiner...Erdinger and Budvar are worthy stand-ins too...it's really hard to go back to a warm (well relatively) pint after any of those beauties.
