Micko: The "Messiah"

    So finally Micko has been officially placed into the hot seat that is manager of the Laois Senior Football team for a 2 year term.

    He's taken on the U21 team affairs aswell with Gabriel Lawlor along side him.

    He sez his target is a Leinster Final in the 2 years. LOL!
    He is optimistic isn't he?!

    A Leinster Final with the players he's got?
    Forgive me if I find it a tad hard to believe.

    Laois football has too many problems for one man to solve. Now Micko can prolly get guys to actually turn up and play but I doubt it he will get all the players he wants.

    Drink culture is the norm...not bothered is the usual line...

    Me thinks he should look past 2 years and prolly concentrate on blooding minors/U21 into the senior team atm.

    So what do you folks think?
