    Is there anyway to lower the strings on the SG?
    If So how ?
    and is it easy or hard to do?

    Just lower the bridge using the little nut like things on the side.

    It is dead easy to do, but do it carefully - if you go to low you'll have fret buzz, most likely on the bass strings. By the way, don't forget to slack the strings before you do it :)
