Saw Evita last night

    guiness's did it. I was impressed with it, musically and choraly but i wasnt very impressed with the girl playing evita, her voice was great, but too posh for eva peron, known for being a...commoner...to put it bluntly!

    However, its one of the hardest shows to do musically, IMO, because a lot of the entrances and music arrangements are so bizzarre that it can be a pain in the arse trying to keep in tune, and she managed it. I just didnt feel her acting was flowing enough, she came accross as very amateur.
    che was excellent, and peron was excellent acting wise, even though he coudlnt really sing

    its still well worth seeing, anyone else been?
