I'm registered as Noel Kellett, and my rank is +118.136 and moving up steadily, my main problem is my crap time on the nurb ring, but thats slowly coming down now, I'm aiming to be sub +100 after the weekend. Mostly driving the Ferrari and the Cooper, not bothering with the real muscle cars yet

Hi Butcher,i had a Rank a while ago cant rememberwhat .I had to reinstall windows a few months ago,i must register again and get me a rank .
Since i reinstalled GPL a few months back after system melt-down heres my best times on default tracks,theres a few i have no time for yet.

Monza-1:30.10 still cant break 130 after 3 years.
Mosport-1:26.91

Have you got latest cars ,tracks etc?
Ive got loads of extras burned to disc if you need them.
Would be cool to meet up on VROC sometime.

heh, once we gather the troops we'll do more than meet up on VROC, we can password the irish GPL server and have the boards.ie gpl championship

I took the brabham out and tried it on all the tracks, couldn't get a setup that suited me for Zandvoort or the Ring, but other than that it seemed a very nimble and steady little car.

yay, i finally completed a race at the ring (it doesn't seem to save the lap time if i do some laps then quit ) and now i've got my official handicap!

I am 416.146 seconds slower than Mr Clark per lap!

I gotta do some more laps on Zandvoort tonight... It's my slowest track. All my laps on it were done before i got the joystick working

Checkout Eaglewomans Online GPL and from there head over to VROC for the necessary software. The VROC software is basically a chatroom and a list of GPL servers which you join by clicking on one of them, couldn't be simpler. The Irish Server is called W.Driving and you should see it in the server list.

Just clocked a 1:09.2 in qualifying at watkins glen in the lotus, not a particularly great lap, but better than my laps on other tracks.

Down to 1:07.84 at the glen in the lotus, it didn't even look like a very good lap in the replay, however I think I carried more speed in the esses. Starting to work on setup now.

+76.854 and dropping, I seem to get a PB everytime I race a track now, spent most of last week learning monaco and my times dropped alot on it
