    Not a bad game.
Thing I found was, playing it on the easiest setting it was simple the computer changed all the gears for you.
If you go up a difficulty though it's a really tough game in comparison because you are totally responsible for gear changes.
Also, from what I can see, you cant be put out of a race by crashing but you can take other cars out.
Nice game over all, but not outstanding.
Anybody else have any thoughts on this game?

Turn damage on and you can crash out of race.Play your racers with all aids off and manual gears on.
Its a solid game but i prefer GP4 mainly for its superior AI.

Well ign.com gave it the same review score it gave warcraft III and Battlefield 1942, a 9.3 so it cant be all that bad :D

    I thought F1 2001 was better than GP3, but GP4 just blows F1 2002 away.

Was at Canada, and damn when I raced there in GP4 it blew my mind - the stands are perfect, the city in the background is perfect, the TV monitors are located where they are in real life - add the atmosphere you get in GP4 to Crammonds already almost perfect (minus canned spins ;) ) handling and you have almost the perfect sim...
