went there once when it was called the met bar. we all know that bouncers are not the brightest of buttons but what they done took the biscuit, not just a digestive but the king of biscuits the toffypop.
they let me in no prolem, no request for id. i head to the bar and get my pint and notice that one of my friends aint in there. so i go to the door and they wont lets him in. amazingly they ask me for id even though im inside with a pint in my hand. i give em my college id they look at it then look at my friend. hand him the id and say go on in. i often wonder what kind of thought processes go on inside the head of a bouncer. i doubt a normal human could really grasp them.

actually it makes a great student bar. Excellant music, recliners & e2.55 pints b4 6. True the decor is a bit ****e, not to mention those strange smells comin from the toastie maker

In my humble opinion they shouldn't try to put bands in there, keep it acoustic cos tis too small!

I was there a couple of months ago, to see some crappy band, kid Icarus (lol, sorry Mark!). Upstairs is incredibly hot and humid .... very uncomfortable!

Class went there for a class party. I didnt as i knew it was **** before they went. Nearly every1 hated the place!
