The ITU, the ones who set standards like 56k (that turns into 20k in the E-Tub Of Europe ®©®™® ) have come up with a new report.

It is designed to show, in tabular/index form who is ready for M-technologies , following is an extract showing the objective of the survey.
The Index measures how each economy is performing in terms of information and communication technologies (ICTs) while also capturing how poised it is to take advantage of future ICT advancements.

WE CAME 10th , but some illitergitimate bastid in the ITU spelt the E-Tub Of Europe ®©®™® as Iceland so they did. (Scroll to bottom for index)

This is disgraceful, minister do something!

Now, I wouldn't be surprised if it is not a misspelled Ireland.

Iceland were no. 5 in 1998 and 2001 on the "Top Ten Economies by Mobile Penetration" list, so I don't see why they shouldn't be no. 10 on the "Top 20 Mobile/Internet Index rankings, worldwide" list :)

The list you're referring to is compiled using 26 variables sorted into three groups: infrastructure, usage, and market structure. Ireland would score high in usage, but apparently not that high on infrastructure and market structure as Ireland didn't make it to the top 20.
