Skate Park in Cork closing today

    AFAIK the skate park in Cork is closing today as they can't get insurance so it's free skating all day.
    Can anyone confirm this?

    I heard they were waiting on a phone call this morning that might change things but it's a long shot.

    Anyone got any news on this?

    Ya I think it's a disgrace. How come a pub has no problem getting insurance and a skate park does?

    Surely putting 200 people into one building and serving them alcohol is more dangerous than a few people skating around?

    Sickens me. Keep us updated here anyways, I'll be sure to pop in once ye re-open.
