I had it set to Opera before in 5.91 (I thinK)
but now with 6.03 I can't seem to find the setting.

I've enclosed a screenie of the "Catcher" dialog on my box which oeNeo informs me is where is should be :)

Heh, I'm just saying that that's where it is for me. :)

The newer versions of mIRC work off the default browser settings for Windows, rather than setting it in an option somewhere.

But I've got Opera set as my default browser....
Would it ever be in a config file somewhere?

Works fine for me with Mozilla set as Windows' default browser, didn't make any changes in mIRC.

mIRC has a bug that causes it to launch IE only. Solution: put this in your remotes (Alt-R):
    on ^*:HOTLINK:http*//*.*:*:return
    on *:HOTLINK:http*//*.*:*:run $1
    on ^*:HOTLINK:www.*:*:return
    on *:HOTLINK:www.*:*:run $1

dunno why you'd bother with opera, it's slower than IE for me so I've reverted :p
