Anyone else read this? It was the first book in a good while that I really didn't want to end. I wondered at points should it have been a little more serious or a bit more didactic. There isn't a huge amount of scrutiny into the wider problem of poverty but I suppose it has to be appreciated for what it is.

Anyone who hasn't read it, it's a must. It's a scandal. I'd read Fast Food Nation immediately before it and now what little screed of faith I had in America has disintegrated! oh well.
