    Hi

We have eight anglers heading out to Killala Bay shortly for some boat fishing and I was wondering if anyone had heard of any marks, rigs, tips or could offer us any advice beyond mackerel and pollack...

    Thanks

From where are you getting the boat from? Killala, Lacken, Ballina, or Enniscrone?
Hopfully the skipper should know where to bring you.

i say try to catch the freshest bait u can find (Mackerel) cod will go crazy for the freshest u can also get older stuff and drown it in cod liver oil , another good one is cut up fish fresh so there is blood poor it in to a bucket so u make a taster (poor it into the water just over where ur bait is )for the fish so thay know there food around thats what i always use i caught so massive cod with them tricks maybe thay'll work for u maybe not.

    Happy fishing

    Hi

We're going out of Killala with John Kinhart on his new boat but I was just looking for any local or recent reports so that I can make appropriate rigs ready.

    Thanks
