its a souce code mod of the first quake that adds some of the effects that are going to be used in the new doom game ie stencil shadows and per pixel lighting, and it looks feckin amazing.

But it does look real good, they should re-do quake2 aswell,it was the best quake IMO.

for all yer uqakin needs, look for a post by thrax, he has a link to a similar q2 mod, also have a look around for the fde3 trailer, shows another qw mod in action.

yep quake2 was the best even for deathmatch. the eraser bot for quake2 owns the q3 ones. i dont think that it can be done for quake2 because the source code has not been released. id hate to think about the requirements for doing it in q2 because it needs about 1ghz to run at full speed for quake1

I take it all back, quake 1 r0x0rz, it 0wnZ all. Its old skool l33tn3ss puts q3a and q2 to shame.



but those KTImpact maps for q2 are brilliant.
