Getting Ogle dvd to work in RedHat 7.2

I have a 1.2ghz Amd duron, a NVidia riva tnt2 with with 16 meg, and a dvd drive. My kernel version is 2.4.7 and the os is RedHat 7.2... The problem is when i run ogle to watch a dvd, the video is slow then fast, then slow then fast... any ideas as to what is wrong???
