    The Godfather.
Even though the 3rd one was pretty weak, the first two more than made up for it.

Where's the Karate Kid trilogy? (Yes, the first one was the only good one but still :p)

No Star Wars either? Bit of a crappy poll, no? :p

Edit: Oh wait, it's bunched with lots of others, why?

For a fist full of dollars,
    For a few dollars more,
The Good, The Bad, The Ugly....

A great evolution in cinema, Where the first 2 films had great plot and experimentation in music scores and character developement, it all came together in the final film......

...my favourite waste of 6 hrs (infront of a TV)....

I left out Star Wars because I think most of the Lucas films are crappy, I think the first Star Wars was a very good movie ( Know today as Episode 4) but after that the films got worse and worse, the arrival of ridiculous characters like Ewoks, Yoda and Jar Jar.

I also left out many other good films, Karate Kid, Die Hard, Mad Max, Batman, Ring..

the first mad max was the only decent one, 2 & 3 sucked ass.
is there a fourth one in production? i heard a rumor about that ages ago

Matrix 2 & 3 aren't out yet but based on the first, I reckon this will own all your pants.

Star Wars,Empire and Jedi were not only great movies but changed the way in which both Sci Fi in movies and tv was looked at but also in how special effects were handled.

    What no Dirty Harry flicks?!

I voted Indiana Jones, though Alien would have got the nod had Alien Cubed been coherent! (there's a good film in there somewhere).

    Mike.

yeah and no option sor the star trek triliogy for all those trekies out there.

you star trek 2 3 and 4 were a triloogy of sorts!

The maxrix trilogy might'nt be bad, which were made from the start for a trilogy (wrote anyway), lord of the rings might turn out alright . But dont think it will be on par with the godfather dispite the terrible godfather 3, what the hell were they thinking they were cousins for god sake !

Out of what you have, Evil Dead 1,2,3.

Obviously Godfather 1 and 2 were far better than any Evil Dead's, but the third one was so god awful it dosn't deserve to be voted best trilogy.

Same goes for Alien/s... it looses out thanks to part three.

The Evil Dead trilogy is all good if you ask me.

I've got to go with the Alien trilogy box set:D Just love "Aliens" even after watching it for the 100th time. Personally I didn't think the third wasn't that bad, but it was a poor when compared to the previous film.

I went for the alien trilogy purely because star wars was bunched in there with others. Aliens is one of me 10 top favourite films. Hudson is dacent "Game over man, game over" "Were in some really pretty sh*t now", what a legend.

Aliens isnt a trilogy. There were 4 movies.
There are also 4 Psycho movies, but seeing as the 4th was made for TV we can ignore it ;)

If thats allowed, then Lethal Weapon gets my vote for pure enjoyment. Godfather for the more serious choice.

Could I venture a personal thumbs-up for Oliver Stone's Vietnam trilogy:-
    PLATOON............................................1986
BORN ON THE FOURTH OF JULY...........1989
    HEAVEN AND EARTH............................1993

For the poll, I have to vote Godfather.

Yes Psycho was a once off by the master himself (Hitchcock), My god.

However 2 had a good twist and there is a 4 i believe?

Lethal Weapon 1-3, classics, same goes for Die Hard. Also for Star Wars.
LotR and The Matrix will hopefully be 2 of the best trilogies around in a few years!!.
