Getting Windows to access a linux NFS server?

    I was wondering how in the name of hell do I get windows to work with a NFS server???

    I have no problems getting it to work once its linux to linux

    Any suggestions would be great:confused:

    You use samba! I don't know anything more about it tho ..... I have been meaning to try setting it up on the home network.

    Ye, thats what I am using at the moment, pretty easy to configure also, but I wanted to see could I get NFS working, it probaly is not easily possible (note: i did not say it was impossible).

    Anyone else got any other ideas...:p

    if it's the same in XP as it was in 2k and before then the answer is you don't.

    Unless you want to pay a fortune for the Unix tools for Windows addon. The name's something like that, and it's basically a add on pack that gives you stuff for making windows work with unix boxes, stuff like NFS, SSH, other basic crap that they should have included anyway.

    Serves you right for not using only microsoft boxes like Bill wants,

    We could always try porting the sources over to Windows and then post the binaries on sourceforge.
