Damien duff quits Ireland squad?

a friend told me today that duff is off the squad as he wants to play full-time for blackburn. I said "thats an utter load of bollock", realising he wouldnt leave Ireland to play solely a premiership team. Yet he kept going on about it, and he's got me worried now. Can somebody clear this up for meh?

On a totally unrelated topic,a friend of mine who works in a well known golf club,was talking to Duffer on Monday and according to duffer,Roy Keane had the backing of the majority of the squad in saipan.

Thats my 2 cents!
