who has sky digital installed could give me a call as i would like to check on a few technical issues about sky digital.
i live in northern ireland and my home phone number is Mod edit: Wheeeee! I'll protect you there, dont give your own telephone numbers out, use PM or e-mail for private correspondances :) also i have two free to air cards available one ni and the other one scottish and i would be willing to swop for roi card.

    all the best

    Tips for a newbie:

1 If that's your real name and those cards of yours are registered with $ky in that same name, advertising them on the web is a very good way of having them disabled.

2 Cards are married to Digiboxes - so unless you swap boxes as well as cards, what's the point?

3 Technical point : There are no free cards allowing access to Irish channels. If there was, I'd like one !

    4 Good luck

If you have an (unactivated) NI FTV card that you're willing to swap for a few quid send me a PM.

There's no Irish equivalent of the UK FTV card. As a matter of fact, irish subscribers don't even get RTE (or BBC) unless they sign up for the Family Pack (see Tony's thread elsewhere here). SO basically you would need to swap at least a whole sub card (which would mean that the Southern irish person would lose RTE via Sky)
