Thats right folks for one night only these rip off merchants will be taking the money of Irish fans and treating them to a fantastic display of athletisim in their 10 foot ring that slides across the floor.

Its gas, some people automatically think becuase IwW is Irish owned that its crap. But its the opposite, we have top wrestlers and great matches. Then this Tribute ****e comes along and has WWE plastered all over the place and gets tons of kids to go with the parents and they think its real. Terrible.

The merchandise is like something you get in a £pound shop and they charge 10 times the price and the ring is 10 foot. People ignore thsi crap.

its not too suprisingthat these shows sell out - terrible as they are - irish kids are brought up on a strick diet of wweand so something like this has a certain name value to it - and dont be too critiacalof the kids who want to go - how many of us have attended tribute type gigs over the years - its not all that different and to them this iswmuch better that the prospect of going to see some schap by the mane of doug williams -to them he is a nobody - i know that if they were expossed to more quality action theywould make a better decision but cest la vie

The ribute show could be called wrestling yet it really isnt. the ring is too small for them to actually do any moves so the match will consist of punches and kicks to and from the turnpads. basically they hire young british wrestlers and old british wrestlers to don the gimmick of a wwe wrestler and pretend to be them, complete with taunts, finishers etc.
there is a gut up on a balcony with a microphone that does waht could be commentary but its really " Heres the Rattlesnake, watch out for him kids, never turn your back on Austin" and more to the effect of that for every match.
it really is a terrible show, and kids get suckered into it because they think its the real thing

Even if you do go just to rubbish the show, you are still giving him your money, best bet is just to make sure people know that its not the real thing.:)

or you could delay the show by arguing with the promoter about paying with fake notes* - i mean why should you hand over real money if he aint giving us the real thing...lol
