I see that www.cdwow.ie have the Back To the Future Trilogy box set in stock on DVD. However, I see that it's Region 4. They do state however that the DVD's will play in Region 2 players. Is there any truth to this ? As it would be nice not to have to wait till December for the Region 2 version to be released.

I know a guy who got them and they work for him, but I can't remember if he has a regionless DVD playter or not.

Most Region 4 discs made by international studios are also set up for Region 2 (some AUssie Fox discs are the big exception). They're also PAL.

Chances are good they're fine for Region 2 then.

OK, after browsing through a number of DVD sites and Back to The Future DVD Specific sites, I can confirm that the Region 4 DVD available on cdwow.ie is also encoded for Region 2. Gonna order myself a copy. Only €28.95 which I think is very reasonable for a box set of 3 movies. Anyways, I'll report back when I get them.
