Card/DigiBox Mismatch

    For a number of reasons, including the fact that I'm outside the country, I have temporarily been using my subscription card in a box different from the one that was used at activation. For two weeks or so I had no problem receiving all of the channels apart from the premium ones, (sports etc which gave me the wrong card/wrong box message with Irish 1800 contact number) but now these 'normal' channels give me a message saying 'upgrade through Sky using British contact number.

    Anyone know if the channels will automatically come back when I put the card back into the original box or will I need to give Sky a call and get the channels re-activated???

    (The card is still under it's year contract.)

    Has the card been out of use for some time? Maybe leaving it overnight in box will activate it again though Tonys suggestion would probably be quicker

    Am I right to suppose that means that the card and box will have to be in Ireland when I ring as I imagine that they will check the telephone line connection when I do ??

    No I dont think so, as yet very few callbacks have been performed on Irish boxes.
