i wish if i was part of this test

getting pissed for free, thats my kind of test.

we all know about the beer goggles effect. it happens most weekends to a few of us :)

i dont think we needed a scientist to tell us that beer makes people look more attractive.

i taught we had a bit of a gangster government here but if the scientists in scotland are getting paid to carry out experiments like that then i think i will be moving over there.

    MMMmmmmm free beer :p

I've done similar things in the past. A mate does 'consumer reports' or something for the big drink majors.

It's very handy.. ya just show up swearing you're a long time lager, stout (whatever the nights tiple) drinker and get fed loads of free beer while they ask you stupid questions like "what does 'going for a pint' mean to you?"

Plus you get paid for your troubles :D

(See sometimes there IS a free lunch.... there's sambos too ;) )

myself and one of the lads got roped into doing one of them things three times in 1 week. we didn't get paid :( . we were fairly pissed though and all those free crackers to boot. it was a cheap week for drinking :)

I was walking through town, feeling very hungover one day and got dragged into one these 'beer surveys'. Just answered a few questions for a free hangover cure of beer and sandwiches and £25 for my trouble. I'll probably never get that lucky again...

in the first post there was a link about students given free beer so tests could be carried out.
now there is a turn around, students are being warned about binge drinking. first they give us drink, now they want to take it away from us or at least get us to calm down.

    another article from sky news

One of my mates mothers works for a few Market research companies, and three times this year alone she has asked me to attend surveys in the Regency Hotel in Dublin.

The first one was on Smirnoff Ice, they are bringing out a new one made from Black Label Vodka, it's clear, and is mixed with a 7up type drink, tastes more of Vodka thats all.

We had to drink 4 pints of normal Smirnoff Ice and two bottles of the new stuff, and got paid €30 for the trouble, and a free taxi home(to the pub to spend the evenings earnings in reality)

The second time was on Guinness and we had to down 5 pints all served at different temperatures, again €30 euro and a taxi to wherever afterwards.

The third time was Guinness too, only this time it was split over two nights, Monday and Weds, again five pints, and €35 this time, and the taxi back to wherever.

Nice work if you can get it!
