    Any pubs in particular you'd like to go to ?

    Are there any women from Cork that use these boards ? (Apart from Dahamsta ) ;)

    Usually i just go slumming in dingy little pubs with a lot of atmosphere and good music ie The Oval, Fred's and places like that.

    The really classy places to go in Cork are the Goat and Doyle's, snicker

    Me too! After 3 or 4 visits you don't even notice what a dump it is :) Went to some 'trendy' pub the other week and you couldn't move for people.


    I'd recommend the Quad as a good compromise.

    Might pop in to this myself actually, don't think I've ever met anyone from boards.ie before.

    I think I may have spotted dahamsta in the Trinity before, was in there one night around christmas and overheard some geek talk.

    I hear the new Brog is nice.

    AFAIK they knocked the wall between it and An Crannog so now it's massive. When and why I don't know.

    I've never been in An Brog before........I'm fairly certain I've been in the (RIP) Crannog before though. At the top end of Oliver Plunkett Street, dingy and dark with beams made out of old trees. Am I thinking of the right place?

    Excellent. Just back from Spain.I'll be there Thursday for a short while only as I'm heading to Oslo Friday. :)

    I left the general muppet list and am just on the tech list now. Its kinda of a group of web dev people creating useless 1s and 0s and filling peoples mailboxes with crap. :) Nah its a very helpful list but it can be high traffic. 100+ emails a day at times.

    Yeah, got to bed at 2 was up at 6 but I went back to bed cos I wasn't able to walk downstairs. Sprained my ankle yesterday and only really noticed when I got home. :rolleyes:

    Had to take a day off work which is annoying. I actually like work. :D
