It's not just MS, all major Software companies have academic pricing for their products. You can get the details through their website or their main distributor (or you can just ask me)....

Yank, if you're just looking for an academic-priced copy for yourself (as opposed to for an entire college:D) 've seen the boxes on sale in most Compustores. One of the few things they don't seem to overprice.

don't know about you, but ive had loads of problems buying trade for software. I was actually hoping one of you kind souls would post a trade reference or even an account manager u deal with (pm me name)...

i have gotten the worst service from some of them for reasons like:
    1. they dont know/understand the diff between an OS and Office
    2. they claim its in stock and then a week later still havent even sent it to me/let me know they never really ever had it in stock.
    3. repeatedly sent the wrong product to my customer (3 times!)
    4. overcharge / double charge / then give credit not money back

    Did you try Osmosis (www.osmosis.ie)?
Good service and they seem to know what they are talking about...
