We going to Orlando in Janurary (wahhooooo). Ive been before for 3 weeks about 3 years ago. My Question is does anyone have any comments about where to go (and any outlet stores for herself) ?

Last time we went to MGM/Sea World/Busch Gardens/Cape Canaveral (spelling !!) and the Florida keys.

P.S. We have my 3 year old son with us this time so I guess disneyland will be on the cards :p

    Daveirl thanks for the info.
Whatever you do make sure you go to Universal Studios this time. Your child might be a little youg for some of it but there are loads of things for young kid too.

We went to universal last time (aka MGM) - was excellent but once you have been once.... However we didnt go to Islands of Adventure and that looks excellent :D I'd say we will pay that one a visit.
The magic kingdom is fantastic. Definite must see. The only other Disney park I went to was Epcot and to be honest I didn't think much of it. It basically only had one great ride (GM Test Track) and the rest was pretty boring.

I'd say we will go to the Magic Kingdom for my son... not bothered about Epcot though.

Also I looked at some of the flex tickets and they do offer great value and flexability...

If you could post on some info about the outlet stores it would be much appreciated.

    Thanks again.

Was there last September and was also there before.

IMO Universal Studios is by far the best park. We spent two days there between Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. IoA have some fantastic rides but be prepared to go home saturated.

Magic Kingdom is pretty good but a lot of the rides are for younger children so it will be right up your street. Were in SeaWorld on 9-11 and were told to leave about 12.30. Had been there before but wouldnt go back again. Went to show the gf but she wasnt too impressed either.

Went to one outlet mall near Magic Kingdom called Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores which was pretty good. The big one at the bottom of International Drive is Belz and there is also the Florida Mall for normal stores.

A day trip to Kennedy Space Center is an excellent trip also and the Disney Marketplace and Pleasure Island in the evenings are great.

Was there in June with two 4 year olds, so have a rough idea what your in store for.

    Disney Magical Kingdom:
A must see. If you have time and money go back for an evening for the Electric Parade and the fireworks, both excellent (7-10PM)

    Disney MGM Studios:
Not as good but has lots of Disney Cartoon and TV Characters "Bear in the Big Blue House" & you've got the Tower of Terror for yourself

    Disney Animal Kingdom:
Lots of safari's so great if you like real animals. Bugs Life, Lion King & other Disney animated animals. Didn't see that much as we went on the same day as a monsoon.

    Seaworld:
Best thing there for kids was a stage show with an Otter, a Walrus and some SeaLions, and of course Kraken for you.

    Universal:
Barney(bring a gun) & ET, similar to Disney MGM but not as good for kids.

Went to two outlet stores, Belz & Orlando Premium Outlets. Belz is at the top (north end) of International Drive and is huge. OPO is just south of the main drag on Vineland, not as big as Belz but very good quality. Best shops I went into were Timberland, Nike and Hagar(€50 casual shirts for $6).

If you're driving watch out for junction markings on Interstate 4. They have all just been renumbered, so whatever you have marked on your map will make little sense when you get to the junction(old numbers are still marked, but not as clearly)

That's all I can think of for the moment, but any questions, just ask.

    This might help
