I could'nt really think of anything else other then "Most Widely Known" restaraunt, but I'm sure you get the jist of it. These are mainly franchise places and are common place thourghout the country. Eddie Rocket's would have to be my own favourite, I can't escape those delicious vanilla malt's they do :p nyom.

    Opinion's, remark's and votes are welcomed :)

I cant believe people voted for Supermacs, I thought people only ate there because it was open late and had burgers... and stuff.

I voted Eddie Rockets too. Would have voted Iskanders but it isnt that widely known. Harry Ramsdens, though, is one class fish and chip place, their batter is great.. mmm.. I didnt vote for it as there doesn't seem to be one near me or vicinity, is there one in Ireland at all?? (oh maybe Bray or Dun Laouiurgheere possibly).

Gah, someone give me the recipe to Harry Ramsdens batter pleees!!

There's one in Liffey Valley, one in Jervis Street, I'm sure there's one in Cork, but the best one by far is the one out on the long mile road, while the others maintain a "fast food" image the one out on the long mile road is a proper restaurant. :p nyom. Their Yorkshire puddin's are the best, massive big things filled up with gravy and onions.

    McDonaghs in Galway is nice.
Fat Freddies is a great pizza place.
Kebab house on Dominic Street and Munroe's pizza place - regular stop on baords Beer nights out in Galway.
    Cactus Jack's - Tex-mex gaff.

The Quays - carvery lunch place, nice proper dinner lunch for about €8.

Hmm, while I do like Eddie Rockets, I find their burgers especially are a little bland. The malts are gorgeous though.

Give me a TGI friday's burger over an Eddie Rockets one anytime. Especially that lovely jack daniels sauce they do, ooh!

I voted Abrakebabra(correct spelling!) because a Chicken Bagguette with garlic sauce and chips with garlic sauce(possibly grated cheese too) is just to delicious!

    I voted BK because:

    1. I'm a vegetarian and their spick bean burger is the nicest vegetarian burger I've ever tasted.

    2. There's isn't one in Galway so it has the allure of the unobtainable. :(

    Erumm.

I think that should be "spicy"...

I don't think they make them out of Spaniards.

I voted KFC cos after years of fallign into abrakebabra after dunken nights out and the same with supermacs (blaming my drunking vomiting on food poisioning) of course. KFC is yummy and it stuffs you unlike maccers where ya have to east one of everything off the menu to be full

    BK gets my vote.
I dont know how you can vote for KFC it's the nastiest place I've gotten food from, I dont even want to think about, flashbacks of food poisoning are not something I enjoy.

Eddie Rockets. I think I've tried everything on the menu at some stage and it was all good. KFC comes a pretty close second though, I used to work in one and lived on chips and chicken gravy for an entire summer. Nyom!

I am shocked and apalled at the omission of the world famous Wimpy Burger franchise. For shame.

Well if it's a Cork franchise it won't be listed there :D The only thing I'm shocked and appauled at is the fact that Supermac's have had 2 vote's, wtf like, I was'nt expecting any.........
