Hi there, My name is Niall and I'm in the process of arranging a Metal Gig in the Temple Bar Music Centre I arrange gigs voluntarilly with an Organization called Gigsmart (www.gigsmartireland.com) and what we are is a band co op, we help other bands out with general things such as equipment or advertising and we support one another, well basically on August 18th I am putthing together this metal night in the Temple Bar Music Centre the bands on the night will be Skyjack, Corrupted, X Constant and Writhe, but after speaking with the booking manager of the Music Centre she has informed me that there has been no DJ set booked for after our show and if there is none booked then I can run my own DJ set, so basically I am goin to run an Unsigned night, if you are in a band then come down to the Music Centre between 7.30 - 10.30 on August 18th check out some really cool bands and give your demo with te song you want played highlighted on it to one of the gigsmart volunteers, we will be wearing Gigsmart t shirts on the night to avoid confusion, then we will play the songs over the Music Centre's rig after the Gig for all to hear at top volume.
Your musical genre doesn't matter, come one come all, but beware I cannot be held responsible for the crowds reaction to your music.

Just reminding y'all about this, I couldn't find the original Thread so I had to post it up here again.

So come one come all, and have your Demo's ready I don't want to have a lack of material, and in the strange event of that happening I have some cool tunes to bash out anyway.

Hope all our fellow Gigsmartians arrive in force and make the night a success - I guess this is the first gigsmart metal night...should be interesting....great line up by the way , much respect to ya Niall!!!!

Thats right Trev, on Thursday night on Phantom FM at 10.00 pm some of the lads from Skyjack and Corrupted will be in the studio to talk about the upcoming gig on Sunday night.
There will also be a competition and all of the bands on the bill have kindly donated a copy of their EP's and there will also be 2 free passes to the gig for the winner.

So the winner gets a copy of Writhes Blind lead the blind EP.
and a copy of X constants forthcoming EP which will not be available for another 2 weeks but when it is given to me then I will send it on to the luckky winner.
They will also recieve a copy of Corrupted's Feed on the Weak EP and an Official Corrupted T Shirt and a copy of Skyjacks Blister EP,
also 2 passes to the show on Saturday night.

So listen out for the competition on Phantom FM from between 9.30 to 11.30 on Thursday night.

Kurdt, still though you can make it this Sunday night right, its a mere € 7.00 as quoted and if you are in a band or you know anyone in a band, why not bring along any Demo's if you have any, I'll blast them out for ya, n'give everyone a listen see what they all think, its not playing a gig, but it still gets your music out there.

Hope to see as many of you as possible, and don't forget about the gig n Mono, as originally posted, its GINSENG, OTRANOME, MURDER OF CROWS and DAN WALSH.
