    An oxymoron?

I was wondering about the Gaeilge column in the Irish Times, specifically.

Despite being strictly regimented and written on the same day, on the same page, and in the same space, they have the nerve to call it "Beo". Sounds like a life support machine to me, they could make it a lot more alive by writing the occasional normal article in Irish. Sadly, it remains the most mainstream Irish writing in the news.

Maybe it isn't the best idea, but it's a start. So here's a question: How would you improve the profile of the Irish language in the print media? We did it with broadcast, we can do it with print. But we need ideas.

you know, the left hand side that has all the news in brief ...and maybe the headlines ... put them in Irish?
