Makes no sense at all really - but that's TV execs for you.

The show is "Automan" (sadly, one of my favourites for a while). The items are created by "Cursor", a small droid (which was really a sparkly floaty thing) And they only made 13 episodes. Automan's friend, Walter, was played by Luciille Ball's son.

No idea on the other but I'll give it a bit of thought. Thought it was Starman but I don't remember the guy ever actually going into space (just coming back from there). Unless he spent most of his time looking for the mother of his son, it isn't Starman.

Best resource on the Net for movies & TV but sometimes it's surprising what they don't have listed. I had to add Bosco a few months back.

You might want to have a look through this list:

    http://www.epguides.com/menu/sf.shtml

See if any of the names jump out at ya......

Going off on a slight tangent, some of the series on that list bring back some memories..... Anyone remember Salvage 1, The Gemini Man and Street Hawk ?? :)

ha, ha, ha, ha... lol. We gotta find them a picture of Bosco to go up there..... 130 episodes though .. damn that was a load. And they always showed the same kids go to the zoo for all the 130 episodes. wow.

    Bosco @ IMDB
The life and adventures of Bosco, a small red-haired puppet who lives in his "bosca" (Irish-Gaelic for box). Bosco never leaves his box but discovers the world through song and stories contributed by the regular presenters and the daily trip through a "magic door". Bosco has a large number 5 displayed on his box, something that has no real significance whatever, except to indicate that as a young puppet, he can count only to 5. Bosco speaks in Irish some of the time, using words familiar to young Irish children.
    Summary written by sceptre

Must really start a campaign to get Bosco back on tv :D

Sorry couldnt resist. I couldnt find the programs your looking for though. :(

    - Dave.

I surely do well not Street Hawk. Salvage One was a short-lived show about a budget moonshot dreamt up by a
guy who ran a salavge recovery company who thought would'nt be great to go to the moon in our own ship (to be piloted by an Astronaut who did'nt get the chance to go with NASA before they cancelled the Apollo programme). In truth in was pretty lame stuff
which got by on Andy Griffiths charm.

Gemini Man was the spin-off from Universals Invisible Man series which starred David McCallum.
Gemini Man was just the second series of that re-worked around a new character played by Ben (Alias Smith and Jones) Murphy.

    I really should'nt know all this... ;)

    Mike.
