i can see myself with the same problem in a few years time, but when i rarely get them now, i just go for a good 12-14hr sleep...that usually gets rid of the ****s for me...well, that and make-up..

i *think* it's caused by fat collevting under your eyes. in some cases it's nothing to do with amount of sleep. after that i have no idea sorry :/ try www.google.com or consult a cosmetic surgeon

I've heard of two different ways to cure this, but it's not an overnight cure, cucumbers placed over the eyes after a cleansing facial and rest with them there for atleast 15 minutes everynight...
also tea bags, make a cup of tea and place the bag over your problem area, again this takes several treatments.
    Just something I've heard.

Im not really sure if you're talking about dark circles under your eyes..like shadowy dark areas or if you're talking about actual bags as in the puffy skin u can get underneath your eyes.

If your talking about bags under ur eyes Ive read ...wait for it...that haemeroid cream works on them. It sounds a bit disgusting and potentially dangerous but apparently it does work n they use it in Hollywood! . Look it up online before trying it though....dont potentialy scar yourself for life on the supposed advise of Meg Ryan!

If you've got dark circles theres nothing you can do . The skin just beneath your eyes is some of the thinnest skin on your body. The dark circles are caused by the fact that in some ppl that skin is so thin its transparent and you can see the dark tinge of blood vessels beneath the skin.....hence the dark shadows. Some say vitamin K cream helps.

    AAAAaaagghh!
    Say it ain't so :(
I'm the dark circle mastah', I look more panda than human.
I've heard that prolonged computer/monitor use gives you really bad black circles... so maybe try laying off the PC for a while, or at least move the monitor further away from you.
Might be an old wives tale though. (?)
I've searched on google for an answer to this before, but alas nothing... might try the teabag trick though ;)
Best of luck Unreg'ed, someday they'll find a cure.

You could always try to walk around with some cucumber slices permenantly stuck to your eyes.

(I'd suggest cutting small holes for vision purposes.)

probably nothin you can do, unless you just arent getting enough rest.

I was born with black circles under my eyes, i have all the statutory pics of me 6 months old naked on a blanket, 3 years old, running through a field of daisies, etcetcetc... and they all have me with big black circles under my eyes. Just resigned to it now. Im told it makes me look 'mysterious'.

    :D

I also am half woman half panda. It's a bit annoying when everyone keeps telling you that you need to get more sleep - when you're getting plenty.

The cucumber trick really does work though. I've also got one of the eye mask thingys you can get in the chemist. You put it in the fridge during the day and wear it for a couple of hours in the evening (or vice versa). It works by shrinking the blood vessels aroung your eyes thus making the skin appear less dark. Not for 'prolonged' use though it says on the packet!
