Just saw this DVD player in the new Argos catalogue.
    Also on http://www.ministryofsound.com/audio/

Does anyone know anything about it?
    Who manufactures it?
    Is it regionally restricted? .................

its not multi-region... a quick google search doesn't give any info either regarding a hack...

i don't understand that whole @10% THD. sounds like waffle to me. afaik THD is supposed to be as low as possible (~0.8% on most decent audio equipment).. so why they quote power figures with a ridiculous level of (as i understand it) distortion is beyond me.

THD is the percentage of the signal that consists of harmonics. These harmonics are introduced somewhere between the source and the speakers...usually the amp. The lower the figure the better!

10% is embarassingly high, wouldnt touch the system with a barge pole :)

    Bucon.
