Xp Pro and my dodgy laptop

I have xp pro on my laptop (a dell latitude) and in the last few weeks the num lock key has been turning itself on just before the logon screen appears (the CTRL, ALT + delete one). Not exactly a huge problem I know but it gets annoying after a while. I have checked the bios and numlock is turned off there so I dunno what…

Run regedit

Navigate to HKEY_USERS\.Default\Control Panel\Keyboard

Change the value for InitialKeyboardIndicators from 2 to 0

Or (a longer method, but one that'll work if you have multiple users) - do the reverse of
