I hope to set up a site at www.irishpubs.net in the next few months - anyone interested in helping out?

I have a good bit of source material, books on Irish Pubs, photos etc.

there are a few sites around devoted to international and domestic pubs.

what type of info are you looking for or going to put in to the site?

i was going to do some thing like that but on a more local scale, would be on my own county.

Willing to help out. Can do pubs in Limerick area and Mallow if I have to. If/when I get a digicam may have some photos of the nice pubs/dives (evidence backing up "this place is a dirty hole" is perhaps a good thing, if only from a legal perspective:D)

I'll help as well. I like pub's they a wide variety of things including algemegol.

I can help out with the site, wanna brush up on asp and php but I can do CFM or Perl instead if you want

We started off www.568ml.com a while back with the same idea. We were going to put an international flavour on it as we were constantly abroad but now that our jobs have gone tits up ...... . Look under Miscellaneous/Alcohol to see how far we actually got.

not sure if i can help you with the creating of the site but me da' owns a bar in kerry and i know lots of people in the biz, or if you want any tips or anything im your man.

and of course i'd love to review some pubs round my way, (since theres not many kerry members on boards.

the first thing i'd suggest is getting in contact with vitners fed. they could prove usefull, (thats the barowners union)
