www.besonic.com/futuremusiccorp is the place to go for my latest
tune called Closing Credits which I see or rather hear, being played as the credits roll after Rutgar Hauer single handedly
saved the world from a dodgy andriod (or some such) in a
    sci-fi b-movie from about 1985! :D

Anyway enough daydreaming, give it a listen esp if you're on broadband (ha!). All feedback welcome.

    Mike.

    Nice Mike!, well done!.

You've got a Low-Fi link in there for us less fortunate 56k(ers). I'm adding it to the list of your tunes that I like. That stuff is so perfect for working along to.

    Picture this:
phobos' head is hovering about 6 inches above the keyboard at around 5am, with FutureMusicCorp keeping it real in the background. ;)

Thanks for the listen, you should visit more often! The sounds
are played by me but the drums are a 30 seccond loop, the
lead line and the choir-y "ahhhs..." come from my trusty Korg sound module.

Glad you like also, tman. Blade Runner is a fav of mine too.

    Mike.

Very nice. I love that Choral pad, It's the one The Orb used to use a lot back in their early days. I think you said before you mainly use Fruityloops? What do you use for mastering?

I dont use Fruityloops I've played with the demo and frankly hated it! Hmm, you must be thinking of someone else. Depending on the mood and the source of the sounds,
I either record straight into an audio editor - Soundforge or Samplitude or I use Calkwalk for midi recordings then turn that to audio.

I mix the audio down using Samplitude (which is multitrack, like CoolEdit2000) then often I'll export the file to Cubase 5 VST demo
and compress a little, then use a plug-in stereo widener for that big expensive sound! Finally I'll trim the track start and end in
Soundforge. Phew! I'm flexible about what I use for any given task...

My bad, I wuz conf0000zed (Not exactly a rare occurence;) )
Veyr nice end result (technically aswell as the actual music itself) for a relatively simple process (I mean without running through a couple of billion different mastering fx).
